New tool aimed at POTA and SOTA hunters

While being under the weather, I spent some time doing POTA and SOTA hunting. The existing tools are pretty good, but I always felt it would be great to see activations on a map, not just a list. So, I created an app for that: SpotMap.

First Activator of Storkluken (LA/ST-327)

Again I had a 9 km hike up to the summit of Storkluken (LA/ST-327) and after 23 QSOs I also got the "First Activation" badge. The weather started out great, but after a while threatening clouds gathered in the horizon and it started to snow.

First Activator Kopparen (LA/ST-217)

After 9km of walking and more than 16,000 steps, I got the "First Activation" badge and activated a summit that no one has activated before. The target summit was Kopparen (LA/ST-217). To me, finding unactivated summits and activating them for the first time is very exciting and something I absolutely want to keep doing!
